Candidate Registration Period
You must file your statement of candidacy and petition for candidacy by March 26th @ 11:59 pm EST. Physical petitions can be submitted in-person during JEC office hours that will be posted on instagram or by scanning and emailing all completed forms to jec@gwu.edu.
Mandatory Verified Candidates Meeting and President and VP Listening Circle
Mandatory President and VP Listening Circle: March 21st @ 6pm
March 27th @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm EDT @ USC Presentation Space
March 28th @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm EDT @ USC Presentation Space
All verified candidates must attend one Candidates Meeting or send an authorized agent on their behalf. Notification of an authorized agent must be sent to the JEC email (jec@gwu.edu) before noon EST on the day of the meeting. The random draw for ballot order will be held at the second meeting. This is the only difference between the two meetings.
